On February 27, 2020, the Federal Republic of Nigeria recorded its first case of the COVID 19, through an infected European business traveler who arrived Lagos, Nigeria for a series of business meetings. Over the course of the following weeks, the number of cases increased drastically and has shown no signs of slowing down. Discriminating against no one; the upper, middle and lower class, black, white, Hispanic, etc., with its effects on human lives and day to day activities nothing less than devastating. As at the date of this article, more than 5 billion people worldwide had been asked to work from home due to the pandemic with the World Health Organization reporting more than 1, 870,076,000 cases and over 116,052 deaths had been recorded due to the complications from the COVID-19.
